Pumpkin say hi

This is pumpkin our big girl labrador. We got her in January 2007, at that time she was 6 or 8 years old, the paperwork she came with was a bit dubious when it came to her date of birth. We got her from www.mappar.org, the pot belly pig rescue shelter based in Madison, Wisconsin.

Pumpkin was very aloof when we first went and saw her and for the next 6-8 months. Previously she hd 4 homes, and 8 kennels in her life, she had been rescued this last time from the pound in Madison, where she had been left  by the previous owners who had brought her to Wisconsin from New Mexico in  2006, she had been in foster homes / kennels for 8 mths prior to our adoption.

She is now out of her shell, loving and looking after her boyfriend Moe, she love running after her ball(s), and playing with her dolls, she even sleeps with them .

Moe, say hi!

This is Moe, our Cocker Spaniel we adopted when we lived in Naples Florida, he is around 7-8 years old and is a typical puppy mill cocker in that he has bad skin and really bad ears, both are constantly infected. He is also allergic to chicken of all things…

When we adopted Moe his story was he was 4 years old, and had been given to the humane society as his owner was going to have a baby and didn’t want a dog around with the baby!!! , Moe had spent his life living on a deck on the condo where his owner lived, he was apparently not house trained or socialized when we got him…. of course he was house trained and asked to be let out, and he is ok with other dogs, he is rather shy but is nice to others.
